flockofcats is a collaboration between Andy James and Pete Flaherty, who both have a passion for supporting individuals, teams and organisations to deliver great performance.
Andy is a highly experienced consultant and performance coach, having worked in the field for more than 20 years. His experience includes leading a number of major leadership development programmes; he also has particularly deep interest and expertise in team performance coaching.
Andy began his career with British Aerospace, where he held a number of commercial and project roles. He moved into learning and development in 1994, working for a number of consultancies in a variety of consultant, leadership and business development roles.
His work with individuals and groups is always focused on facilitating learning that has an impact on business performance.
Among the major projects that he has been involved in, Andy was a lead faculty member on the Leading with Purpose programme for Civil Service Learning and lead consultant on the Best to Lead programme for a major international bank.
Andy supported an organisational development and change project for a client in the care sector. The project included strategic facilitation, change management consultancy and staff engagement workshops. He also designed and delivered a range of management development programmes.
Team Coaching and Research is an area in which Andy has extensive experience. He has supported the development of team performance in a variety of sectors, working with teams at all levels. Andy developed and created the 5 Components of Team Performance® model and the Team Performance Diagnostic®.
Andy has worked in the UK and internationally, in Europe, USA and Singapore.
Pete is a successful, well-respected and experienced consultant, coach and developer of organisations, leaders, teams and people. He draws upon a wealth of experience from working within the Professional Services, Insurance, Communications, Retail, Public and Manufacturing sectors.
He has designed and delivered leading edge development initiatives and one-to-one breakthrough success in executive and personal coaching. Pete is also a successful national conference host.
Pete specialises in leadership, team development and organisational change, and has been delivering training and coaching at senior levels in organisations for over 20 years and brings a wealth of experience from many different professions and sectors. This business perspective, aligned to the ability to create an environment of trust and challenge, delivers tangible change results for both individuals and organisations.
He has developed an industry leading Leadership and Talent programme, coaching senior executives and Partners. The programme was recognised as industry leading through:
